Man found shot inside his home in Halethorpe

A 28-year-old man died Monday morning after he was shot in his Halethorpe home. Baltimore County police wrote in a news release that Drevon Jamal Williams, 28, of Halethorpe, died after he was shot inside his home in the 5600 block of Shelbourne Road. Police were called to the residence just after 6 a.m. for a report of a shooting. Officers found Williams suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police said at least one suspect entered the home and shot Williams before running away.
