Pasadena man arrested on drug charges after overdose
A Pasadena man is facing gun and drug charges after police said they found him overdosing Saturday evening in a crashed car in Glen Burnie, according to charging documents. Maryland State Police found the man, Jarrod David Boring, 27, passed out in the front passenger seat of a Honda Civic around 6 p.m. after being called to the scene of a crash, according to charging documents. A trooper administered Narcan, and Boring refused medical treatment on the scene, police wrote in the charging documents. Nobody was transported from the scene, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. A search of Boring’s car revealed a 0.45 caliber handgun with one round in the chamber, brass knuckles, drug paraphernalia, marijuana and 10 capsules of heroin, police said. State police arrested Boring over drug possession, and possession of a loaded firearm and a dangerous concealed weapon. Boring was also arrested on a DUI, but he was not charged, according to online court records.
