Blue Jays: Teoscar Hernández belted a pair of three-run HRs over the Green Monster — two of the Blue Jays’ eight longballs — and Marcus Semien extended his road hitting streak to 26 games as the Blue Jays pounded the Red Sox 18-4 on Sunday in Boston. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Cavan Biggio, Rowdy Tellez and Semien also went deep for the Jays, a day after they belted five HRs in a 7-2 victory. Guerrero’s was his major league-leading 21st. Bichette had four of the Jays’ seasonhigh 20 hits. The Jays also reached a season high for runs. Semien’s club-record streak is the majors’ longest since Dexter Fowler hit safely in 27 straight road games for the Cubs from September 2015 to May 2016. Robbie Ray (4-2) struck out 10 over six innings . ... The Jays placed LHP Steven Matz (7-3) on the COVID-related injured list a day after he beat the Red Sox.

White Sox: Carlos Rodón took a no-hitter into the seventh, and the visiting White Sox completed a three-game sweep of the Tigers with a 4-1 win. Rodón (6-2) was going for his second no-hitter of the season. Rodón allowed one run on one hit and two walks while striking out nine in seven innings. Evan Marshall and Liam Hendriks completed the one-hitter, with Hendriks getting his AL-leading 17th save.

Astros: Michael Brantley had his second four-hit game of the series and drove in four runs, and the Astros had a season-high 20 hits and routed the host Twins 14-3 to take two of three games. The Twins’ Michael Pineda (3-4) left after four innings due to a reoccurren­ce of right forearm soreness. Kyle

Tucker homered for the second straight game and had three hits for the Astros. LHP Framber Valdéz (3-0) won his third straight start, allowing two runs and five hits in seven innings. The Astros won their fourth straight series.

Brewers: Avisaíl García hit a two-run HR, Christian Yelich added a pinch-hit sacrifice fly on his bobblehead day and the Brewers completed a three-game sweep of the Pirates with a 5-2 win. The Brewers won for the 14th time in 16 games. The Pirates have lost seven straight. Josh Hader struck out the side in the ninth for his 17th save in as many chances.

Extra innings: Eugenio Suárez hit an early two-run HR and the surging Reds climbed back over .500 for the first time since April 21, beating the visiting Rockies 6-2 for a threegame sweep. The Reds have won 10 of their last 13 . ... Randy Arozarena hit his first career grand slam, Rays relievers threw seven no-hit innings, and the AL East leaders beat the Orioles 7-1. It was the Orioles’ 15th consecutiv­e road loss . ... Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a tiebreakin­g grand slam in the seventh and Manny Machado followed with a HR as Padres powered past the host Mets 7-3 to stop a four-game slide. It was the 19th HR of the season in 49 games for the 22-year-old Tatis, who leads the NL . ... Max Stassi hit a two-run HR in the first, Patrick Sandoval pitched four-hit ball into the seventh and the visiting Angels routed the Diamondbac­ks 10-3 to win their sixth straight game. The D’backs have lost 10 straight . ... The Dodgers placed 1B Max Muncy on the IL with a right oblique muscle strain. Muncy is hitting .264 with 14 HRs and 33 RBIs in 60 games.
