Blake Coleman singlehandedly kept the Stanley Cup Final from being tied.

Coleman scored a one-armed, diving buzzer-beater and goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy was the best player on the ice in making a playoff careerhigh 42 saves to put the Lightning up 2-0 on the Canadiens in the bestof-seven series with a 3-1 victory Wednesday night in Tampa, Florida.

Game 3 is Friday in Montreal.

The Kings acquired F Viktor Arvidsson, 28, from the Predators on Thursday for two draft picks.

G Davion Mintz withdrew his name from the NBA draft and will return to Kentucky next season. Mintz led the Wildcats in scoring (11.5 ppg) and assists (3.1) in 2020-21.
