COPELAND, Jeanne Rapoport

Jeanne Rapoport Copeland (nee Mendelsohn), of Naples, FL, formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the age of 98. She is survived by her loving daughters, Bonnie (Rick) Marshall, Susan (Alan) Levy and Ellen (Jamie) Wilen; adoring grandchildren Andrew (Alyssa) Wilen, Casey Wilen, Jake Marshall and Saryn (Ben) Levy; great grandchildren Aubrey and Arlo Wilen and Miles Witten; and devoted step children Marsha (Dick) Manekin and Jack (Lisa) Copeland. She was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Dr. Leonard Rapoport and Dr. Herbert Copeland.

At 98 years young, Jeanne remained the life of the party, enjoying ballroom dancing until her last days. Jeanne was a beautiful woman who was witty, irreverent and feisty. Her engaging smile would light up any room. Colorful and capable, with an indomitable spirit, she was a positive force in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family will be in mourning at 31 Beecham Court, Owings Mills, MD on Wednesday and Thursday from 5 to 9pm and Friday from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be sent to the charity of your choice.
