Where’s the outrage over news that guns are the top killer of children in America?

Guns overtook car crashes as the No. 1 cause of childhood death, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data, analyzed this month by the New England Journal of Medicine. What is wrong with this country that its citizens are not frantically trying to fix this horrific statistic? What is wrong with a country whose response to such information is a huge “meh” of indifference?
