ON THEIR WAY
Cindy Poteat (203) of Lanham is enthusiastic at the start of the Brigance Brigade 5.7K Championship Race and 1.57M Family Fun Run/Walk, which returned in person this year at the Baltimore Zoo in Maryland. She completed the walk with a group that included Sharon Davis (167) of Lanham, at left. The fundraiser kicked off ALS Awareness Month. More than 525 participants helped raise about $30,000 for the Brigance Brigade Foundation, which supports people living with ALS and their families, and was founded by former Ravens linebacker O.J. Brigance and his wife, Chanda.
