Heyward review ‘next best thing to being there’

Thanks and kudos to Mary Carole McCauley for the review of Jonathan Heyward’s conducting performance with violinist, Joshua Bell, at Lincoln Center: “‘Baltimore is in for an adventure’: Newly named BSO music director Jonathon Heyward makes Lincoln Center debut with ‘rock star’ performance” (Aug. 5). Her vivid description captured the moment and was the next best thing to being there. I could almost hear the music and witness the audience reaction as described. Looks like Baltimore has some real adventures ahead.
