BEEP BASEBALL

-

Yassin Yafi, 10, left, hits a ball during practice at the Maryland School for the Blind’s beep baseball game Tuesday. His physical education teacher Tim Taylor, center, and Opare Mantey of the Baltimore Orioles ticket sales team, right, look on. The school partnered with the Orioles and the League of Dreams to host a beep baseball event for its students. It is an adapted form of baseball for people who are blind or have low vision as baseballs are embedded with an audio device that makes noise so players can hear and locate the ball.
