MIKE PRESTON’S REPORT CARD Quarterback
CINCINNATI — Here’s how the Ravens graded out at each position after a season-ending 24-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Sunday night’s AFC wild-card playoff game at Paycor Stadium.
Tyler Huntley didn’t dazzle anyone with his arm, but he managed the game well and made several big plays down the field, a key missing ingredient in this offense. Huntley completed 17 of 29 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns, including a 41-yarder to Demarcus Robinson in the third quarter, as well as an interception. He also ran for 54 yards on nine carries. Huntley, though, fumbled reaching the ball toward the goal line and Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard returned it 98 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, which was the difference. He’ll be criticized by a lot of Baltimore fans, but he was trying to make an extra-effort play. I can’t fault him for that.
