Camden Yards: Home to the Orioles, and now, also, to Coca-Cola products.

A week away from the 2024 season home opener, the team said it is switching allegiances from Pepsi to Coke. The Orioles have signed a multiyear partnership with Coca-Cola Consolidated, the country’s largest Coca-Cola bottler, according to a news release Thursday.

The beverage company, which in addition to classic Coca-Cola makes soft drinks like Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta and Barq’s, as well as the bottled water brand Dasani, will now be the official beverage partner of the Orioles and Oriole Park at Camden Yards, where baseball fans will be able to buy Coke products at ballpark soda fountains and in bottles and cans.

The O’s previously had an exclusive partnership with PepsiCo. That agreement, announced in 2019, came with signage on the outfield wall as well as naming rights to the Picnic Perch, an all-inclusive dining option on the ballpark’s club level. Pepsi also previously sponsored a soccer jersey giveaway.

A team spokesperson did not immediately answer questions about which drinks will be sold at the stadium, or whether Coca-Cola’s logo will be featured anywhere. The release does say that CocaCola

plans to lead several community events and drink samplings at Camden Yards.

The beverage giant is already the official beverage provider at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., and at the Cincinnati Reds’ Great American Ball Park.

The Coca-Cola deal comes one year after the Orioles switched concessions operators, dropping longtime partner Delaware North for a new contract with Levy, the Chicago-based hospitality operator that is also taking over food and beverage operations for the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium this fall.
