Natty Boh making a comeback

Beer on Camden Yards menu for the first time since 2016

- By Matt Weyrich

Natty Boh is back.

The Orioles announced Monday that Baltimore staple National Bohemian will return to the menus at Camden Yards for the 2024 season, ending an eight-year absence from the ballpark that was a casualty of a feud between the ballclub and the beer’s parent company, Pabst. Fans can purchase it in a specialty-themed orange can, which will only be available at the park.

Although it hasn’t been brewed in Maryland since 1996, Natty Boh has long been a favorite of Baltimore residents. The beer was last available at Camden Yards in 2016 when the Orioles pulled it from the shelves six games into the season after issuing a cease-and-desist letter to Pabst alleging National Bohemian used their trademarks and imagery without permission, a team source confirmed to The Baltimore Sun at the time.

“It’s always exciting to partner with beloved Baltimore brands, and this partnership with Natty Boh exemplifies that. We look forward to offering fans the iconic taste of Charm City to sip on while cheering on the O’s,” T.J. Brightman, the Orioles’ senior vice president and chief revenue officer, said in a statement.

It won’t be the only new beverage at the ballpark, either. The Orioles already announced Thursday that they would be switching from PepsiCo to Coca-Cola for their soda provider in 2024 after five years of exclusively serving Pepsi in the stadium.
