NEW LARGE SIZE:
1. $50 1880 LT, Fr.164, Ben Franklin + America. Although over 250 in the census, virtually none in Unc–an unexplained anomaly that serious collectors have been aware of for decades. This has a great look with even margins and pleasing color and comment of minor repairs that are not readily detectable. PMG VF 30, net. .. $6995
2. $50 1922, Fr.1200, Fifty Dollar Gold Cert. This note faces up like a well-margined Ch CU. Flip it over and the back is as vivid and deep orange as the day it was printed. Some tiny rust freckles appear, but aren’t optionable and not bad enough to ‘net.’ Great look; better value! PMG Ch VF
35. ................................................. $2495
3. $20 1905 GC, Fr. 1180, Technicolor. An attractive and affordable option for a collector seeking an example that won’t ‘break the bank’ like cost-prohibitive higher grades. Comments repair and margins reconstructed add to aesthetics and help the price. Pics online. PMG Fine 12, net. ................................................ $2450
4. $20 1914 FRN, Fr. 971a, New York. Bright paper and bold inks on this Big Apple blue seal. PMG VF 30................................ $345
5. $20 1918 FRBN, Fr. 823, Atlanta. A most attractive example of this scarce type with less than 50 pieces in the census and no public sales of any Uncs. This Atlanta $20 displays bright paper, sharp ink colors, and light, even wear. Comment of ‘stain’ seems a bit trivial for the grade. PMG VF 25..... $3550
6. $5 1869 LT, Fr. 69, Rainbow. This note displays all the color a discerning collector would desire and faces up like a strong AU-CU. Little spot of adhesive that’s barely noticeable and hidden in the design. Ch EF-AU............................................. $3250
7. $2 1869 LT, Fr. 42, Rainbow. Looks 10+ points under-graded. Great color on this original deuce! PMG VF 30EPQ........ $4200

There are no public auction records of sales of this denomination certified in any grade by any grading service.PMG VF 20. ............. $2995
10. $20 1902-ND FNB of Green River, WY Ch# 10698. A tough Wyoming bank with less than a dozen large reported and no public sales of any certified $20 from this bank. Evenly circulated with no comments, but like above, this has a few PHs when backlit not mentioned by grading service. PMG Fine
12. ................................................. $3250
DISCOVERY ERROR:
11. $5 1988 FRN UNIQUE Canceled Plate
Print. The oversized note was printed from canceled plates with four large green “Xs” on the back and four large black “Xs” on the front. The note is devoid of the overprint. Authenticated and graded by PMG as Choice Uncirculated 63EPQ and designated “cancelled plate print.” Interestingly, although not annotated by PMG, is that the note originated from the end of the paper roll, as the tell tale signs of vertical matte markings appear along the wide edge. Although mere conjecture and speculation, the most educated assumption one can arrive at, barring additional input and/or correction from the BEP, is that another portion of the plate cylinder was severely damaged causing the press operator to cancel all plates with four “Xs” on each side prior printing the sheet and presumed subsequent destruction of the entire plate cylinder rendering it unusable for additional printings. Bart commented “after nearly onehalf century of studying US paper money errors, I’ve become a bit jaded; yet this unique discovery piece ignites my passion.” PMG Ch Unc 63EPQ. .................... $14,950
12. $5 1995 FRN Insufficient Inking Error. Left 40% of the back is entirely absent. PMG Gem Unc 66EPQ. .............................. $450

15. $20 1977 FRN Insufficient Inking Error. A horizontal mistake where the top half of the back design is absent before gradually presenting the inked details. PMG Abt Unc 55EPQ. ............................................. $595
16. $1 1981 FRN Insufficient Inking Error–
Serial #87. The preceding serial numbers are somewhere between faint and nonexistent while the suffix letter is also hard to locate. As such, all that’s easily noticed are only two digits in the serial number, 87. PMG Abt Unc 55EPQ. ................................ $295
NEW SMALL SIZE:
