2020-21 PANINI CONTENDERS BASKETBALL CONTINUES WITH TICKET THEME

Typically, when you buy a ticket to something, you know what you’re getting into. Whether it’s a game, concert or movie, there’s a level of certainty. 2020-21 Panini Contenders Basketball can be seen as the same way.

e brand has long since found its niche, framing just about everything around a ticket theme. Autographs are also a key components. So are rookies. All of a sudden it’s like a festival with several acts headlining things.

Hobby box highlights include two autographs, eight inserts and a pair of parallels.

Rookie Ticket Autographs headline the checklist. Featuring their trademark ticket-inspired design, signatures are all on-card. Parallels take on a variety of forms and card stocks including acetate Clear Ticket, Cracked Ice (/25), chrome Premium Edition Gold (/10), and one-of-one Premium Edition

Sophomore Contenders Autographs put the spotlight on top players in their second NBA seasons.

Veteran Ticket Autographs resemble base cards only with the major signature upgrade. ese have their own parallels including die-cut Ticket Stubs.

Rookie Ticket Swatches Autographs bring some memorabilia to the release. Prime parallels have premium swatches.

Die-cuts are a running theme among some of Contenders’ inserts. License to Dominate return with their driver’s license-inspired look.

Permit to Dominate are also back.
