2008 Rittenhouse WNBA Rookies Candace Parker #R1 /444

Under traditional de nitions, Candace Parker doesn’t have a Rookie Card. However, this is basically it. It’s treated as such but because it’s technically an insert and not in the base set, it doesn’t qualify for the RC tag. But a tag is just a label. This is easily one of the most important and most valuable Candace Parker card save for autographs and some extreme rarities.

Part of an 18 card set, it’s a tough pull as there’s just one Rookies insert per 2008 Rittenhouse WNBA hobby box. Each has 444 serial-numbered copies.

In addition to this card, Parker appears on a handful of others in the 2008 Rittenhouse WNBA set. Among them are a pair of US Women’s National Team inserts. One has the two-time Olympic gold medalist on her own and is numbered to 444. The other is a three-player card where she’s with Sylvia Fowles and Candice Wiggins. This one has 667 copies.
