It’s not NBA, but Topps Chrome is back on the basketball court. 2021-22 Topps Chrome Overtime Elite Basketball brings a prospecting angle, similar to the Topps
Now sets they’ve done for the developmental program.
e league might be different, but the set up is similar to a lot of other recent Topps Chrome releases. Autographs are two per hobby box. Collectors will also find a lot of parallels and inserts.
e base set isn’t a big one, consisting of
100 cards. Players come from the Overtime Elite league, a non-traditional place for student-age players to get an education and develop their basketball skills. In hobby terms, these are prospects aiming to eventually make their way to the NBA but not necessarily through college.

ese are the most plentiful inserts, landing
1:3 packs.
Levitate (1:6 packs) highlights players with a knack for soaring on the court while Future Problems (1:6 packs) focuses on top OTE standouts.
Superfly is the scarcest of the standard inserts, falling 1:216 hobby packs. e psychedelic design draw’s from the ’70s, bringing plenty of color.
