2022 PANINI ORIGINS

2022 Panini Origins Football focuses largely on rookies and autographs – like so many othere sets. It’s been the case since the line’s beginnings. Also like in the past, the checklist isn’t an overly complicated one but the designs are some of the most distinct in the sport.

Hobby boxes come with just one pack of seven cards. Of those, two are autographs including a jumbo memorabilia card from a member of the season’s rookie class. A third hit is also in every box, coming in the form of a relic.

e base set looks to the dancing shimmer of the Northern Lights for a major part of its inspiration.

e checklist starts with 100 veterans. Rookies join them in the main set as well, some of which have additional variations.

Parallels combine to land two per box and come in the following:

AUTOGRAPHS

Rookie Jumbo Jersey Autographs are one of the box hits in 2022 Origins Football. Using a vertical layout, these have a sticker signature and an oversized swatch. Patch parallels come in Red (/99 or less), Orange (/75 or less), Blue (/49 or less), Turquoise (/25 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Green (/5 or less) and Black Nike Swoosh (1/1).

On-card signatures are one of the defining features of Rookie Autographs. Red (/99 or less), Blue (/49 or less) Turquoise (/25 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Green (/5 or less) and Black (1/1) make up the parallel lineup.

Passing Stars, Rushing Stars and Receiving Stars are all positionspecific, offering more opportunities for autographs from rookie quarterbacks, running backs and receivers. ese max out at 25 copies.

Despite having multiple signatures, Dual Rookie Autographs and Triple Rookie Autographs are still on-card. Both have print runs of 10 or less as well as one-of-one Black parallels.

Rookie Booklet Patch Autographs (/49 or less) open up to showcase a jumbo piece of memorabilia and an on-card signature. Parallels here are a little different with Gold (/25 or less), Gloves (/2 or less), NFL Shield Black (1/1) and Nike Tag Black (1/1).

Proving Ground Signatures (/99 or less) offer collectors a chance at some veteran ink.
