2022 TOPPS PRISTINE BASEBALL BRINGS BACK DORMANT BRAND
It has been a while since the Topps Pristine brand has made an appearance. 2022 Topps Pristine Baseball cards bring it back, complete with the pack-within-a-pack-within-a-pack format it was known for. Chrome designs are also returning, which means Refractors galore and on-card autographs.
Hobby boxes have three total hits — one autograph relic and a pair of autographs. Joining them are five additional inserts and ten Refractors.
For those who like busting packs, each 2022 Topps Pristine master pack actually comes with three packs inside. One has an encased autograph or parallel. e second is either an autograph relic or a couple of chase cards. Finally, there’s a seven-card base pack.
It comes together for a 300-card base set that is a mix of current and retired players. Standard parallels include:

• Gold Refractors – /50 • Orange Refractors – /25 • Red Refractors – /5 • Superfractors – 1/1
On top of these are Pristine Refractors, which come encased in a holder straight from the pack. Collectors will find four total per hobby box. Pristine Refractor colors come in:

e 2022 Topps Pristine Baseball checklist has three standard insert sets that combine to land five per hobby box. Fresh Faces spotlight rookies and top young MLB players. Pristine Borders travels the world with 20 international standouts. Finally, there’s Pure Power, a set that’s all about home run hitters through the decades.
Similar to Pristine Refractors, autographs that aren’t accompanied by memorabilia come encased. at also have on-card signatures.
Pristine Autographs adapt the base set design. Pristine Refractors (/99), Gold Pristine Refractors (/50), Orange Pristine Refractors (/25) and Black Pristine Refractors (1/1) are available for these.
Other signature themes include Fresh Faces Autographs, Popular Demand Autographs and Pure Power Autographs. All three of these have Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25) and Black Refractors (1/1). Popular Demand Autographs also have an additional level of Red Refractor (/5) parallels.
Pristine Pair Dual Autographs have ink from two players. Pristine Refractors come numbered to 5 while Superfractors are one-of-ones.
e one-per-box autographed memorabilia cards are available in two different themes, Slice of a Star and Popular Demand Autograph Relics.
Slice of a Star parallels are Pristine Refractors (/99), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Popular Demand Autograph Relics have a little less with Orange Refractors (/25), Pink Refractors (/15), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
