Charges brought against Gran­ite City man ac­cused of threat­en­ing school

An 18-year-old Gran­ite City man has been charged in con­nec­tion with threats made against Gran­ite City High School on Mon­day.

Dy­lan T. Stacy, of the 3200 block of Carl­son Av­enue, was charged with dis­or­derly con­duct Tues­day af­ter­noon, the Gran­ite City Po­lice De­part­ment said in a Face­book post. The charge is a felony.

Stu­dents re­ported threats against the school that were made via so­cial me­dia on Mon­day night. Af­ter a po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tion, a per­son of in­ter­est was ar­rested in con­nec­tion with the in­ci­dent.

Stacy re­mained in cus­tody in

Gran­ite

City on Tues­day, pend­ing ex­tra­di­tion to Madi­son County Jail, po­lice said. His bond was set at $100,000.
