Naomi R. Kryp­ciak, nee Berry, age 84, of Fair­mont City, IL, born on Au­gust 3, 1934 in Xe­nia, IL, died on Tues­day, Jan­uary 8, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospi­tal, St. Louis, MO.

Naomi worked in the ac­count­ing de­part­ment for Sears Roe­buck & Co. and Ne­whoff Whole­sale Jew­elry. She was an avid Car­di­nals base­ball fan with Lou Brock be­ing her fa­vorite player. She en­joyed old time coun­try mu­sic, TV westerns and vis­it­ing the fam­ily farm in Xe­nia, IL. Naomi was a very good cook, but bak­ing was her pas­sion. She was a lov­ing, car­ing and won­der­ful mother. Naomi was al­ways in­volved with her boys’ school Sac­tiv­i­ties, be­ing a Cub Scout Leader and busy with the PTA. Naomi was a mem­ber of the Fair­mont City Fire De­part­ment Ladies Aux­il­iary.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Joseph P. Kryp­ciak; her pa- rents, Robert E. and Ferne C., nee Copelin, Berry; and her brother, Robert W. Berry.

Naomi is sur­vived by her sons, Joseph E. “Joe” Kryp­ciak of Fair­mont City, IL and Michael R. “Mike” Kryp­ciak of Fair­mont City, IL; and her sib­lings, Karen Keller­man of Red Bud, IL and Joan Brain­erd of Vista, CA. She is also sur­vived by many nieces, neph­ews, cousins and friends.

Ser­vice: Fu­neral Ser­vice will be held on Mon­day, Jan­uary 14, 2019 at11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mor­tu­ary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. In­ter­ment will be held in Lake View Memo­rial Gar­dens, Fairview Heights, IL.
