Shirley Ann Phillips, 85, of Traskwood, went to be with the Lord on Wed­nes­day, May 22. She was born July 10, 1933, in Ira Ann, Texas, to the late M.P. and Ora T. (Brook­shier) Graves.

Shirley loved the Lord and was a mem­ber of Glen Rose Assem­bly of God. Her greatest joys were tak­ing care of her fam­ily and her daily trips to the Hill­top Grocery Store in Haskell to drink cof­fee with her friends.

Shirley leaves to cher­ish her memory her lov­ing hus­band of 59 years, Ot­tie Pre­ston Phillips, of Traskwood; two sons, Bryan Pre­ston Phillips and wife, Pa­tri­cia, of Liv­ingston, Texas, and James Mar­ion Phillips and wife, Ch­eryl, of Ben­ton; five grand­chil­dren, Megan Phillips, Zackry Phillips, Emily Phillips, Rylee Phillips and Mag­gie Phillips; a great-grand­son, Cooper Hostetler; two brothers, De­wayne Graves of Ker­rville, Texas, and Michael Lynn Graves, of Hous­ton, Texas; and many other fam­ily mem­bers and friends who loved Shirley and will miss her al­ways.

Visi­ta­tion will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tues­day, May 28, at Smith-ben­ton Fu­neral Home, lo­cated at 322 N. Mar­ket St. in Down­town Ben­ton.

Fu­neral ser­vice, of­fi­ci­ated by the Rev. Ger­ald Wil­liams, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wed­nes­day, May 29, at the fu­neral home.

Burial will fol­low at Mount Pleasant Ceme­tery in Hot Springs.
