Grant nets no-hitter at Wolff Classic

the first inning, a two-out, 2-run home run by Logan Chambers in the second and another Drennan RBI single in the top of the fourth.

The Black Sox put up a 7-spot in he sixth inning helped by six free passes, four with the bases loaded, RBI singles by Noah Davis and Chambers, and a sacrifice fly by Logan Catton to cap the scoring.

Chambers finished 3 for 4 with the homer and three RBIS, Drennan was 2 for 3 with two RBIS and Davis was 2 for 4 with a run and RBI. Jake Wright went 1 for 2 with a run and RBI, and Brayden Lester was 1 for 1 with three runs and an RBI.

In the 8-3 win on Friday, Chambers had another big day going 3 for 4 with two runs and an RBI, while Drennan went deep with a 2-run shot in the first inning, finishing 1 for 3 with two

RBIS.

After hitting a double to lead off the third inning, Chambers stole third and scored on a wild pitch to put the Black Sox up 3-0.

A one-out double by Gage Stark, a single by Coby Greiner and a sacrifice fly by Aaron Morgan in the top of the fourth made it a 4-0 game, and Bryant made it 7-0 in the sixth aided by RBI singles by Lester and Chambers and a sac fly by Catton.

Prodigy put up a run in the bottom of the sixth, but the Black Sox got the run back when Peyton Dillon doubled and Grant traded spots with him with an RBI double for the 8-1 game.

Stark finished 2 for 3 with two runs, Lester was 1 for 1 with a run and RBI, Grant 1 for 3 with a run and RBI, and Dillon and Greiner both added a hit in the win.

Will Mcentire started and gave up two runs on five hits and no walks, striking out eight in five inning for the win.
