County road funds lead Finance agenda
The Saline County Quorum Court Finance Committee will discuss a transfer of funds of more than $300,000 during its regularly scheduled committee meeting Monday evening.
With anticipated revenues for the year of 2019 increased to $325,000, the Justices of the Peace will consider an appropriation ordinance that, if approved, will see the funds appropriated to Fund 2000 County Road, line item 2025-Asphalt.
The JPS will also consider an appropriation ordinance that, if approved, will see $5,202 in county general funds transferred from line item 1002 parttime help to line item
0105 receptionist for the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
The Saline County
Public Defenders Office will also have an appropriation ordinance on the agenda which, if approved, will see $9,723 in funds transferred from the small equipment line item to the part-time help and Social Security matching funds line items.
Also, $9,023 will go to part-time help with the remaining $700 to Social Security matching funds.
The final ordinance on the agenda to be discussed will be an ordinance that would authorize the transfer of $3,241 in country general funds in the tax assessor department transferred from the part-time help line item to the assessor personal property line item.
In addition to the ordinance discussions, Saline County Sheriff Rodney Wright is also scheduled to address the committee.
The finance committee will meet in Courtroom 1 at the Saline County courthouse, located at 200 N. Main St. in Benton.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.
