Ralph E. Holder Sr.
Ralph E. Holder Sr., 84, of Benton, passed away
Thursday, Oct. 3, and went to be with the Lord. He was born Aug. 5, 1935, to the late M. C. (Buddy) Holder and Berta A. Burks Holder.
He attended Benton Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1953. At an early age, he worked for the Victory Theater and ran the projector. Later, he would work for the United States Post Office. First, as a city letter carrier and then a rural carrier. After he retired Ralph, could be found vacationing at the lake with Ann and friends. Ralph was a Mason and a Christian with a strong unwavering faith that God’s way was the only way. He was a member of Holland Chapel Baptist Church for 50 years and First Baptist of Benton for 11 years.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Norman Holder.
His wife and true companion of 62 years, Ann Hobbs Holder, survives him. He is also survived by two sons, Ralph E. Holder Jr. (Eddie), of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, and Don Holder, of Benton; four grandchildren, Keeley Culver and husband, Lance, of Benton, Michael Holder, of Keo, Hunter Holder, of Benton, and Kelsey Holder, of Lonoke; a great-granddaughter, Delilah Culver, of Benton; a great-grandson on the way; a sister, Virginia Duvall and husband, Wilson, of Tull; seven nieces; three nephews; and many cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, with visitation being held an hour prior at Roller-ballard Funeral Home, located at 306 S. Main St. in Benton.
Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery in Benton. Officiating the service will be Bro. Kim Hammer and Dr. Rick Grant.

Floyd Lee Todd
Floyd Lee Todd, 69, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, October 2. He was born Jan. 23, 1950, in Fairfield, California, to the late Dewey C. and Lucille Broudrick Todd. Floyd was a sheet metal worker for the Little Rock Sheet Metal Company for many years. He attended Grape Chapel Church of God in Benton.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Genna Gae Todd, of Benton; a son, Travis Todd, of Benton; two brothers, Bobby Todd and Dewey Todd, both of California; a granddaughter, Taylor Natalie Todd; and a daughter-in-law, Chandra Cox of Benton.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Deyoung Pavilion, behind Grape Chapel Church, on Arkansas 298, with John Baxley officiating.
