Edith M. Baker, 93, of Ben­ton, went to be with the Lord on Mon­day, Oct. 7. She was born Nov. 5, 1925, in Po­plar Bluff, Mis­souri, to the late Al­bert and Lada Mae Gra­ham.

She worked at KFC in Ben­ton for ap­prox­i­mately 14 years. She was a faith­ful 38-year mem­ber of First Bap­tist Church of Ben­ton and loved her church as her fam­ily.

She is sur­vived by her chil­dren, David Baker (Char­lotte), of Ken­newick, Wash­ing­ton, Jim Baker (Nancy), of North Lit­tle Rock, and Jan Adams (Bobby), of Bran­son, Mis­souri; nine grand­chil­dren; 19 great-grand­chil­dren; two sib­lings, Al “Sonny” Gra­ham (Betty), of

Ben­ton, and Clyde Gra­ham (Shirley), of Arnold, Mis­souri; and other ex­tended fam­ily mem­bers and friends.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; her hus­band, Clark L. Baker; two sis­ters, Bette Evans (John) and Jean Grant (Wes); a daugh­ter, Carol Baker Schulte; and a grand­daugh­ter, Amy El­iz­a­beth Siron.

In lieu of flow­ers, me­mo­ri­als may be made to In­ter­na­tional Mis­sion Board c/o First Bap­tist of Ben­ton or WMU c/o First Bap­tist of Ben­ton, 211 South Mar­ket St., Ben­ton, AR 72015.

Fam­ily will re­ceive friends at 2 p.m. Sun­day, Oct. 20, fol­lowed by a a me­mo­rial ser­vice at 3 p.m., at First Bap­tist Church of Ben­ton, 211 South Mar­ket St.
