Quorum Court to consider appropriation ordinances
The Saline County Quorum Court will consider an ordinance regarding the transfer of funds of more than $300,000 during their regularly scheduled meeting Monday evening.
With anticipated revenues for the year of 2019 increased to $325,000, the justices of the peace will consider an appropriation ordinance that will see the funds appropriated to Fund 2000 County Road, line item 2025- Asphalt.
The ordinance was approved by the finance committee earlier this month.
The JPS will also consider an appropriation ordinance that will see $5,202 in county general funds transferred from line item 1002 Part-time help to line item 0105 Receptionist for the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
The Saline County Public Defenders Office also has an appropriation ordinance on the agenda. If approved, the ordinance will see $9,723 in funds transferred from the small equipment line item to the part-time help and social security matching funds line items. Approximately $9,000 will go to part-time help with the remaining $700 to social security matching funds.
The final ordinance, if approved, will authorize a transfer of $3,241 in country general funds in the tax assessor department transferred from the part-time help line item to the assessor personal property line item.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Courtroom
1 at the Saline County Courthouse, located at 200 N. Main St., in Downtown Benton.
