David Wayne Feimster, 77, of Benton, passed away on June 8, 2021, in Little Rock. He was born on Jan. 10, 1944, in Gurdon to the late William David and Katie Lucille (Carter) Feimster. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Peggy Ann (Feimster) Cox, Mary Jo Brittingha­m, one brother; Billy Tom Feimster.

David worked at Alcoa for 34 1/2 years, but was a cement finisher all of his life. He enjoyed gardening and loved congregati­ng with the neighbors. David served in the U.S. Army for three years. David and Janis would have celebrated 52 years of marriage on June 30.

Survivors include his wife, Janis Carol (Corbin) Feimster, two daughters; Tammie (Feimster) Mcallister, Debra Feimster, two granddaugh­ters; Larissa Hankins, Savanna Mcallister, three great-granddaugh­ters; Adleigh Hankins, Haisley Hankins, and soon to arrive, Ryenne Rae Johnson, one sister; Virginia (Feimster) Willis, one brother; Greg Feimster (Joani), numerous nieces, nephews, special nephew; Mike Cox, and his special fur baby, Marlo.

Memorial graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with Pastor Ken Bernard officiatin­g. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon, Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Roller-alcoa Funeral Home. (501) 315-0700.
