Willie Jeff Rickard
Willie Jeff Rickard, 91 of Paron, passed away on July 15, 2021. She was born on June 19, 1930, to the late Homer C. and Luttie Moore Ford in Paron. Willie Jeff was full of love for her family, friends and her Lord and Savior; a longstanding member of North Fork Missionary Baptist Church in Paron where she served as song leader for 30 years. She was retired from Teletype (AT&T). Willie Jeff was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, friend and devout Christian; a wonderful woman to know.
Willie Jeff was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Joseph A. Rickard, Alvin M. Wilson and James A. Curtis; two sisters, Othelda Grace and Georgetta Hester.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Sandy (Edward) Mcdonald, Ritchie (Sarah) Rickard, Joey Rickard, Marty (Connie) Rickard, Jeffrey (Bridgett) Rickard, Lannie Rickard, Janice (Harlon) Hobbs and Theresa (Dillard) Garrett; sister, Rosella Oglesby of Quitman, Texas, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren with two on the way, six great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Kirk Mcdonald, Kevin Mcdonald, Greg Hobbs, Tracy Garrett, Jarret Rickard, Tony Rickard, Andrew Rickard and Eric Rickard.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 21 with Tommy Oglesby and Don Mccutcheon officiating. Burial will follow at Fowler Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
She will forever be remembered.
