Benton School District announces personnel changes

The Benton School Board announced a number of personnel changes during its most recent meeting.

Kelly Fountain, a third grade teacher at Ringgold Elementary School, has resigned and this resignation went in to effect Aug. 2.

Classified personnel resignations include:

•Teresa Davis - Angie Grant Elementary School

•Opal Dorman - Benton High School Library Aide

•Sarah Dreher -Transportation

•Jaimie Metcalf -HIPPY

•Kelly Moore -HIPPY program Coordinator

A number of new hires were also announced. Jill Lesieur will be a classroom teacher at Angie Grant Elementary starting this fall.

Classified hires include:

•Lashonda Adams BMS Special Education

•Jennifer Dickerson CES Special Education

•Lilia Esquivel - HPES Part-time Custodian

•Tommy Fulcher District Transportation

•Kelly Mans Administrative Assistant to Assistant Superintendent

•Monica Melhor Special Education Contract Adjustments include:

•Mitch Meredith Transportation, driver contract changed from 1.5 hours per day to 4.0 hours per day.

•Ayano Hall - BHS Custodian - from part-time to full-time Temporary Contracts were approved in athletics for Sara Armstrong, Kylie Buttram, Brandy Chumley, Kim Cole, Samuel Cowling, Rachel Dodson, Sakari Faulkner, Hailie Fisk, Mary Grace Guerra, Faith Lamb, Linda Larkin, Brenda Lee, Steve Loibner, Madi Mehlin, Naomi Parker, Tosha Rook, Bettye Slocum, Kelsea Thrower, Sierra Wallace, and Marice Wilson.

The following temporary contracts for BMS Jump Start were also approved: Angel Eddleman, Misti Hart, Jaci Smith and Miguel Ortega.
