The Season 9 premiere sees the return of everyone’s favorite speed demon in this new time slot formerly belonging to “Stargirl.” Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Iris West (Candice Patton), Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) will be back for more, while this season’s guest stars include Javicia Leslie as Batwoman, Andy Maines as the Pied Piper and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Dr. Ramsey Rosso.

It’s a living! (You’ll see what we did there in a second.) Nell Serrano (Gina Rodriguez) is a down-and-out, newly single selfdescri­bed disaster, trying her best to restart the life and career she left behind five years ago in this new series. But when she lands the only job she can find — writing obituaries — she starts getting life advice from an unlikely source. The series is adapted from Alexandra Potter’s book “Confession­s of a 40-something F... Up.”

This fifth and final season premiere gives viewers one more chance to experience both the joy and sadness that comes from unyielding friendship and love. With Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) and Charlie (Brynlee/ Everly Fisher) still in France, Eddie (David Giuntoli) finds longdistan­ce co-parenting a challenge. And Katherine (Grace Park) is coming to terms with her sexuality while trying to build a relationsh­ip with Greta (Cameron Esposito). Meanwhile, Maggie (Allison Miller) and Gary (James Roday Rodriguez) are facing potential parenthood while cancer forces Gary to confront his mortality.
