Golf’s unofficial “fifth major” gets underway today on the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, where the infamous 17th island hole will undoubtedl­y wreak havoc on competitor­s’ scores in the Players Championsh­ip. Cameron Smith (who has since joined LIV Golf) caught fire a year ago on the challengin­g 7,189-yard North Florida course, making birdie on 10 holes in the final round to take his second win in 2022 and fifth overall on the PGA Tour.

Restaurant: Impossible FOOD 7 p.m.

It turns out that the shortest route to a man’s heart may not be through his stomach. In Coleman, Mich., Chef Robert Irvine finds a failing restaurant that’s destroying a loving marriage. It seems owner Leah’s refusal to listen to her husband’s advice has forced him to step away, creating a void between them and a lack of customers. Robert must help them find the confidence to be partners again in the new episode “Driven to Tears.”

Fred Flarsky is a gifted and free-spirited journalist who has a knack for getting into trouble. Charlotte Field is one of the most influentia­l women in the world — a smart, sophistica­ted and accomplish­ed politician. When Fred unexpected­ly runs into Charlotte, he soon realizes that she was his former baby sitter and childhood crush. When Charlotte decides to make a run for the presidency, she impulsivel­y hires Fred as her speechwrit­er — much to the dismay of her trusted advisers.
