STOLEN HEART

THE BACK COVER OF THE January/February magazine completely stole my heart.

The pussycat is (as usual) a beauty, and charming, with an expression that needs no words. The pose in the window — paw just reaching out through a diaphanous white curtain — could not convey the message more clearly. The message (“Are you my secret admirer?”) enclosed in a heart seals the deal. This picture has now replaced Jack (from a previous magazine) as the fixture on my dining room table to help me get through what is happening in Australia, where I live, on top of my own illness. Inspiration from an animal face is better than anything.
