GRATEFUL READER

I WANTED TO write and respond to two stories in your July/August 2019 magazine. First, thank you for the informative article about feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). The first cat I ever adopted had this terrible disease. I remember contacting at least five veterinarians and no one could help him. I loved little Isaiah dearly. I have gone on to adopt other cats, but will always love and miss him.

The second story I want to comment on is about Ella, the special-needs Chihuahua. What an amazing little survivor! I am so glad she found a loving home and someone who understands her. I am taking care of a special-needs dog right now whose rear legs are very weak and who has trouble walking. I am glad and grateful to help him. He is very sweet. Thank you for your magazine, which helps so many precious animals.
