Bertha’s day out

EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, A GIRL DESERVES TO BE PAMPERED

-

She received yummy treats and had her nails done, soaking up every minute of the pampering.

Bertha lost her home and ended up in a New York City shelter before coming to the Best Friends Lifesaving Center. Even though staff and volunteers at the center loved her dearly, they thought she could do with some extra-special treatment. (Let’s face it, there’s nothing like being spoiled with a luxurious spa experience — especially if you’ve never had the pleasure before.)

So, Bertha got a VIP visit to D Pet Hotels in Chelsea, where she settled into a comfortable room to be waited on, hand and paw. She received yummy treats and had her nails done, soaking up every minute of the pampering. When it was over, she happily climbed into the car to go back to the center. But her stay there was coming to a close, too. Soon after her big day out, she got the biggest treat of all — a home of her own. Now she’ll get VIP treatment every day.
