SPIRITED KITTY REPORTS FOR DUTY AT A UTAH DISTILLERY
Some cats are happiest out of the limelight. Not Gimlet. As the new resident cat at Beehive Distilling in Salt Lake City, Utah, she loves to be the center of attention. She was recently adopted to her unique home from the Best Friends Lifesaving Center in Salt Lake City, and she’s reveling in her new digs, roaming freely around the distillery.
Though she’s not allowed in the bar (she’s underage, after all), Gimlet stakes out a spot in the window where she can watch the customers, and vice versa. There’s no television in the bar, but who needs one when patrons can watch Gimlet napping in her whiskey-barrel bed, chasing a laser pointer, or entertaining herself by staring back at them and tapping the window with an inquisitive nose or paw. (Hmmm, Gimlet probably isn’t the only underage dreamer to press her nose against the window of an alcohol-serving establishment.)
