AGENTS OF CHANGE

Thank you for the article titled “Agents of Change” in your March/April issue. So often, animal control officers and first responders get a bad rap for not caring about the animals they come in contact with, and this article shows that’s clearly not always the case. It was encouraging to read how committed the men and women spotlighted are to providing the best for the animals, whether it is seeking medical care, placing them in a shelter or going the extra mile to help keep them with their families. They do so much behind the scenes that the public doesn’t realize and they are clearly animal lovers, too.
