Getting creative with masks

Twelve-year-old Irene doesn’t let a thing like her young age hold her back from pursuing her passions — sewing and helping dogs. Irene and her mom already had their own Etsy business crafting custom dog collars and accessories, but when COVID-19 hit, she decided to use her skills to make masks for those on the front lines helping people and animals. She sewed cute animal-print masks particularly for local hospital staff and Best Friends volunteers.
