in the dumps when she lost her home and ended up in a Georgia shelter with a painfully infected eye. Luckily, the shelter was able to help her, removing her bad eye and spaying her. From the shelter, Layla went to Best Friends in Atlanta, and it wasn’t long before her pretty face caught the attention of Jessica Bridges. Jessica promptly adopted her and reports that six-year-old Layla is enjoying a second kittenhood. “She loves to jump and flip in the air when she plays with her toys,” Jessica says. “It’s unbelievably cute to watch.”
