Pretty as a picture

In the November/December issue, we published this photo of Odessa, one of many poodles rescued in the Atlanta area. We accidentally left off the photo credit for photographer Maggie Flynn. Not only does Maggie take lovely photos, she’s a Best Friends volunteer — and she was Odessa’s foster mom. Thank you, Maggie! We’re happy to report that Odessa is doing wonderfully in her new home, where she’s beginning to play, but still prefers to be carried rather than walked on a leash. Her new person says that’s OK, because she’s happy for the extra snuggle time.
