What a peanut!
PEANUT’S MOM WAS part of a large-scale mustang rescue, and he was born at a wild horse sanctuary. So, he’s familiar with people, and he’s used to getting treats at the fence. But being handled by humans was still a new concept for him when he and a couple of his friends came to the Sanctuary.
With time and patience, though, Peanut is learning to understand that people are more than just treat dispensers. He’s starting to feel safe around his trainer and caregivers, and their relationship is improving every day. You could say that Peanut is really coming out of his shell.
