Flying out the door
THIS PAST YEAR AT the Sanctuary, parrots have been flying out the door — figuratively, of course. In fact, 109 of our feathered residents found new families in fiscal year 2020. The adopted parrots include favorites like Ripley, a once-shy macaw, and Hilly, a cockatoo who loves to dismantle Lego buildings. Even though many of our colorful friends are now enjoying new chapters in their lives, there are still a lot more at the Sanctuary ready to fly into your heart and home.
