A real sugar rush
WHAT’S SWEETER THAN A BUNNY? How about four baby bunnies all snuggled together around their mom, each named after a kind of candy? Mama Butterscotch and her four kittens (yes, that’s what baby bunnies are called) — Twix, Heath, Bit-O-Honey and Twizzler — came to Best Friends after being rescued from a dump site. And we were instantly kitten-smitten. It was hard not to get a sugar rush just watching them play, nibble and nap. In the relatively short time that they’ve been at the Sanctuary, the bunnies have grown almost to full size, and that just means extra sweetness, of course.
