SLEEPOVER BONUS

THIS WEEK WILL MARK the third “adoptaversary” with Remi. I met Remi on a sleepover at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and was very smitten with her. I already had two dogs and felt that taking on a third would be too much. That was in October. By the time December rolled around, I was still thinking of her every day and decided to put in an application. At the time, Remi was 10 1/2 years old, had recently had surgery for skin cancer and had skin allergies.

Fast-forward three years and Remi is still going strong! She has gained a little pandemic weight, like the rest of us, but is still as happy-go-lucky and filled with personality as ever. Yes, she runs the house and if she is ignored, she will throw her head back and “roo roo” for attention. Thank you for the opportunity to do sleepovers. If that had not happened, Remi would never have become part of our family. Susan Graham
