Saying goodbye

THE BIRDS OVER AT THE Parrot Garden are getting some relaxing therapy time, thanks to volunteer Rick Eddy. Currently doing an apprenticeship in pressure point therapy, Rick decided that practicing on large parrots like macaws and cockatoos would be a good way to get some unique and fun experience.

One of his current “clients,” Lollipop, enjoys being bundled up in a towel and having his shoulders and feet carefully massaged. In fact, Lollipop becomes so relaxed that he falls right asleep. And who wouldn’t, with that kind of pampering?
