Brew the perfect iced tea.
Heat 2 cups filtered water to just below
boiling (190°F to 195°F); remove from heat. Add 8 tea bags or about 3 Tbsp. loose tea. Cover; steep 3 to 5 minutes. Strain into a pitcher. Add 6 cups cold water. Let stand at room temp 1 hour, then chill 4 hours or up to 3 days.
Makes 2 qt.
