Brew the per­fect iced tea.

Heat 2 cups fil­tered wa­ter to just be­low

boil­ing (190°F to 195°F); re­move from heat. Add 8 tea bags or about 3 Tbsp. loose tea. Cover; steep 3 to 5 min­utes. Strain into a pitcher. Add 6 cups cold wa­ter. Let stand at room temp 1 hour, then chill 4 hours or up to 3 days.

Makes 2 qt.
