Faux citrus fruits (about $1 each at crafts stores) Spray adhesive Extra-fine white glittern Garland Bamboo skewers Screw eyes Velvet ribbon

HOW TO Give faux oranges and lemons a sugared look that will last years. Coat each piece with spray adhesive, then dust with glitter. Make enough for a garland and for sconce swags. GARLAND Start with a real or faux leafy garland, such as magnolia, that’s long enough to drape across the mantel and touch the floor on both sides. Insert the sharp end of skewers into fruits; cut skewers so they are long enough to insert into the garland wire. SCONCE SWAGS Insert screw eyes into the tops of sugared fruits. Tie each end of a length of ribbon to screw eye; drape over light fixture.
