MAKE A MOLD
Download our mold patterns at BHG.com/ Hanukkah2018. Trace patterns onto stencil film, cut out, fold, and tape edges with packing tape. Make eight of the smaller molds and one larger mold for the shammash (the candle used to light the others).
MIX THE CEMENT
Follow manufacturer’s instructions to mix white outdoor cement. Divide into separate bowls and stir in grout pigment to color cement. (We created two shades of blue and left one bowl white.) Spoon small amounts of each color into the molds, leaving ¹⁄₈" space at top. Slowly swirl (don’t mix) colors using a skewer. Experiment by sprinkling grout pigment directly into the molds.
FORM A HOLDER
Plug one end of ¹/4" copper coupling with foam adhesive circles. Submerge couplings foam side down halfway into the cement.
Let dry 24 hours before removing the mold.
