We Salute!

There are those in the community - local business, individuals, or civic organizations who have gone above and beyond. There have been those moments that have made a positive impact on the community and we want to recognize those moments, contributions and people:

• Forsan students who competed in the UIL competition recently and earned multiple awards.

• Big Spring Band students who recently competed in All-region. The students represented the Big Spring commuinity and Big Spring ISD well.

• The Big Spring Police Department for supporting the local Relay For Life efforts and providing a donation to the group in support of the fight against cancer.

• Blake Jones, HCSO; Christopher Dominguez, BSPD, and Justin Mccullough, BSFD for their service to the country and the community. These three were recently honored by the Quilts of Valor Organiation and the local DAV Chapter 47.
