Howard Hawks finish season with win over New Mexico Military
The Howard Hawks (16-14, ) finished out their 2019-20 season with a 79-70 win over New Mexico Military.
Three Howard players scored in double-digits and were led by the perimeter shooting of guard Klay Brown. Brown converted on 6-of-10 three-pointers in the contest and finished the game with a team-high 28 points.
His backcourt-mate and team captain Eric Reed Jr. notched 17 points in the road contest and also grabbed 10 rebounds to finish with a double-double. He will be playing Division I basketball next year.
Point guard Tucson Redding had a great night distributing the ball and dished out eight assists in the game.
After a rough conference schedule knocked the Hawks out of contention this season, a solid win over NMMI was a great way to finish out the schedule.
