Howard College Trustees meet Monday to discuss organizational changes
The Howard College Board of Trustees will convene for a regular meeting Monday at 12:30 p.m. inside the Fireplace Room at the Student Union building. An executive session will take place at 11:15 a.m. before the open session begins, and Trustees will discuss organizational changes. After the meeting is opened with the invocation and recognition of guests there will be a moment for communication to the board. Citizens wanting to address the trustees are welcome to do so.
Dr. Cheryl Sparks will provide the Covid-19 response status report #7 along with the Open Howard College update at the beginning of the meeting. Information will also be provided on the Athletic Fields on the Big Spring Campus and other updates regarding the Lamesa, San Angelo and SWCD campuses.
The Trustees will hear performance measures and outcomes including operational indicators which will be reported through the small class reports. The financial indicators and student success indicators will be reviewed through Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Almanac and the Quality Enhancement Plan Annual Report.
As part of the monitoring reports, an update will be provided on coliseum chiller request for proposal along with discussion on hail damage repair or replacement request for proposal. Grant funding for blackboard outcomes modules will also be discussed. The trustees will also discuss handbook and catalog changes.
